I received my education from the Mississippi University for Women and Southern New Hampshire University. My work experience began at a local magazine in Mississippi, where my main responsibilities included writing and editing. I worked at the magazine for approximately seven years, and during that time I gained significant experience in an authentic environment. In addition, I am a published writer. Because of this, I am better able to aid students in writing and communicating effectively. I believe that all students need these skills. In addition, I have also tutored a special needs student in the subject of English. I am qualified to tutor in a variety of content areas, including reading, writing, editing, grammar, social studies, geography, and history. I can also help students prepare for college entrance exams by preparing them to take the ACT. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with my pets.
